Sad News - Beryl Lovett has passed away

Craig Lovett's mum passed away at 3:15 am yesterday. She was diagnosed with inoperable cancer a few weeks ago, but her condition deteriorated much more rapidly than expected. Craig had been at her bedside for the previous 5 days, knowing that she would not have long. 

Naturally his attention has been focused on her situation, and he will be looking after his family matters for the next week. 

Flowers for the family have been organised on behalf of the club.


Craig's mum will be buried in Sydney next Monday.

Quote from today's Age newspaper:

"For Melbourne friends and relatives, a Remembrance Service will be held at St Martins, Hawksburn, 27 Cromwell Road, South Yarra on Friday 25 February at 3pm. This will be followed by a celebration of her life nearby."

The thoughts of the Junior club are with Craig and his family at this time.
